NeDA Home Improvement Loan
Thinking of replacing your roof, your old windows or furnace, but don't have the money? NeDA can help. NeDA also has limited funds available to St. Paul residents to make energy improvements to their homes (increased insulation, new furnaces, etc). Loans of up to $10,000 are available. The loan is 0% interest, due on sale or transfer of title. The home must be a year-round owner-occupied home and income restrictions apply. Participation in an energy usage study is required.
Working in collaboration with the State's Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, NeDA can originate MN Housing Fix-Up loans for your home improvement needs. These loans have fixed-interest rates with flexible terms. Maximum loan amounts of $35,000, depending upon homeowner's equity and credit history. In order to be eligible, the home must be a year-round owner-occupied home and household income cannot exceed $90,000.
